USB to GPIB Controller에서 랩뷰 사용하기

오랜만에 GPIB 장비를 사용하게 되어서, 달려있는 것을 보니 생소한 제품이 달려있더군요.

이게 참 잘 안됩니다.

랩뷰에서 사용하는 법이 가이드로 있는것을 보니, 잘 안되는 것이 분명합니다.

랩뷰에서 사용하기 위해서는,

1. 랩뷰와 VISA가 설치 되어 있어야 합니다.

2. ICS 488.2V4드라이버가 설치 되어있어야 합니다.

3. ICS GPIB DLL 파일이 windows/system32와 syswow64 경로에 있어야 합니다.

3-1. Run ICS Explorer to initialize the controller's installation and to verify that you can see and talk to the instruments.

3-2. Close ICS Explorer when done

3-3. Open NI-VISA Interactive Control from the NI Launcher. It will scan and display a list of found GPIB Instrument Resources.

3-4. Double click on the instrument resource you want to communicate with. This opens a Control Window.

3-5. Select the Input/Output tab and do an *IDN?\n query. You should get the instruments IDN message back. It ends with \n. Ignore the remaining nulls in the buffer.

3-6. Close the Control window. when done

3-7. Run your LabVIEW vi using the instrument’s VISA resource name to communicate with it. Optionally use ICS's example IDN. vi that just does *IDN? queries.
